Membership of The Black Country Society
Members receive the quarterly Blackcountryman magazine, either as a hard copy or a pdf, and through a password protected area on the web site, access to high quality, searchable pdfs of all back copies from 1967. In addition a number of other resources in the Society Archive are available only to members. Members also receive a monthly email newsletter (the Black Country Bulletin). They can also take part in walks and tours without payment and can attend society meetings at a reduced price. Members can also use, under license, the images in the Society Archive.

Types of membership
Individual Membership
The annual membership fee for individuals is £25.00 with a hard opy of the Blackcountryman or £17.50 with a pdf copy. Individual members receive all benefits listed above.
Overseas Membership
The annual fee for overseas membership is £17.50 , which includes a pdf copy of the magazine, and the other benefits listed above.
Joint Membership
Membership is available for two family members at the same address for £30 with a hard copy of the Blackcountryman, or £22.50 with a pdf copy. Both family members receive all the other benefits.
Schools, Colleges, Universities and Libraries
The annual organisation membership fee is £30 with a hard copy of the Blackcountryman, or £22.50 with a pdf copy, and all the other benefits listed above for all within the organisation.
Renewal of membership
Exisiting members will be sent a Subscription notice when their membership payment is due for renewal, with details of how to pay by Standing Order, Bank Transfer etc. However if you would prefer to pay by PayPal, using debit or credit cards, please use the appropriate button below.
Joining the Society
To join the society please use the appropiate PayPal button below for New Members. The PayPal buttons allow the use of debit and credit cards-(click on button, then PayPal checkout, then Pay with debit / credit card). You will need to provide address and contact details. When your application has been processed, you will receive an email giving some more information about the Society and its activities and a pdf of the latest copy of the Blackcountryman. If you would like to pay the membership fee other than through PayPal (eg by Bank Transfer), please contact the Membership Secretary using the form on the Contacts page.
