The Spring issue of the Blackcountryman has now been sent out to all members. Non-members can obtain copies for £4.50 from a number of stockists in the area - Ashwood Nurseries, Wall Heath, Black Country Living Museum Shop, Black Country Hub, Black Country T Shirts Shop, Halesowen, Blue Sheep Books, Wednesbury, Dudley Archives, Dudley Canal Trust, Oak House Museum, West Bromwich, Red House Glass Cone, Wordsley, RS News, Wolverhampton Street, Willenhall, Saturday Books, Dudley. It is also available in pdf form from the Society Shop for the same price .
The contents are as wide ranging as ever - from the nuclear industry to poetry and stories. See the contents list below. Something for everyone in the Black Country.
Members of the Society can access all back copies of the Blackcountryman (since 1967) on password protected pages on the Society website. Anyone can view the Index however, which is available as an uploaded spreadsheet (thanks to Andrew Homer for his work on this). The index is searchable by word or phrase using the web site indexing app. This is however quite slow to load and respond, so Andrew has also provided a pdf version of the index that can be downloaded and searched in the usual way. This is updated after each new issue of the magazine is published.
