The Autumn 2022 issue of the Blackcountryman has now been published, the first produced by our new editor Emma Purshouse. Printed version have been sent to all Black Country Society members, who can also access pdf versions on the Society web site in a password protected area. Non-members can purchase the last four editions from the Society shop for the normal retail price of £4.50. The index list is given in the picture below – article include “The community of Wall Heath in 1881”, “JB Priestley’s Black Country Journey”, ”Writing dialect down” and the second part of the article on Francis Brett Young in the first world war.
