From the President's Facebook page "Proud to represent The Black Country Society at Top Church Thanksgiving service to Our late Queen. I wanted to go for myself personally also as an admirer of the Queen and her never failing duty and resilience whilst experiencing the ups and downs of family life that we all can identify with. For once Dudley got it right....the hymns, readings , voices in harmony and the Bishops heartfelt sermon were just right. Me and my Mark thoroughly enjoyed the tribute.
On the way home we pulled into a lay by to observe the minutes silence with the nation.
We then picked up a 'chippy tea' so a night of reverence, respect, thanks and a good feed was enjoyed by both of us....wonder if Our Queen liked fish and chips........"
